Johanna [ hoop dancer, fan dancer, fire dancer, live painter ]
Johanna Mehl was born in Lawrence, Kansas and moved to Philadelphia in 2008 to pursue a degree in Textile Design from Moore College of Art and Design. She spent over fifteen years learning classical ballet, jazz and modern dance and now has her sights set on learning some new and exciting types of performances. Her current interests lie in exploring advanced techniques in hoop and fan dancing, fire arts, live painting, and photography. With so many years of rigid study under her belt she has become a quick learner and is working on combining many different genres into an avant-garde wave of performances.
